The autumn season is in full bloom, and the fruits of labor are within reach. On the morning of October 21, a delegation of professors and experts led by Wu Yechun, former vice president of South China University of Technology, and Zheng Xiaojuan, director of the Retired Personnel Department, visited our company for an inspection and exchange. Kuang Jiongquan, chairman of Zhanmei Group, and Kuang Yaoji, general manager, led the team to warmly receive them. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on key areas such as university-enterprise collaboration, technological R&D, product modification, and talent cultivation, laying the groundwork for future cooperation and jointly painting a blueprint for innovative development.
Firstly, Kuang Yaoji, General Manager of Zhanmei Group, led a delegation of experts from South China University of Technology to visit our exhibition hall. They provided a detailed introduction to Zhanmei Group’s advantages in aluminum alloy production chain, supply chain, and technology over the past 40 years, as well as the significant achievements the company has made in high-end metal spherical powder. They also shared cases of technology safety and big health management services, as well as the development and application of Zhanmei Group in new energy vehicles, aerospace, 3C consumer electronics, ships, yachts, machinery manufacturing, and other fields. They emphasized Zhanmei’s extensive application in emerging intelligent fields such as humanoid robots, low altitude economy, and drones. Huagong professors also put forward constructive suggestions for the technological upgrading of some exhibits based on their own research fields.
Subsequently, we visited our production workshop, 5500 ton extrusion production line, and various subsidiaries’ production applications in high-performance aluminum material service platforms, high-end metal spherical powder manufacturing, technical safety services, and other fields. During the process, experts carefully examined the production process and technical application scenarios of the core product line, occasionally stopping to inquire about technical difficulties and innovative breakthroughs. When learning about our company’s achievements in industrial aluminum materials, high-end metal spherical powders, technology and safety services, the expert group led by former Vice President of South China University of Technology Wu Yechun and retired Director Zheng Xiaojuan gave high praise, believing that our company’s technological direction is highly compatible with industry development trends and has a solid foundation for industrialization.
Finally, both parties held a discussion and exchange meeting, during which the company’s general manager, Kuang Yaoji, shared the plan for school enterprise cooperation projects. He stated that as a top comprehensive research university in China, South China University of Technology has strong scientific research capabilities and top-notch talent reserves in disciplines such as materials science and engineering, and machinery. Our company has been deeply involved in the industry for many years, accumulating rich market experience and industrialization resources. The cooperation between the two sides has the natural advantage of “scientific research+industry”, and is expected to achieve complementary advantages and mutual benefit.
The representative of Professor Huagong shared the achievements of the school in scientific research innovation, achievement transformation, and talent cultivation, and provided professional suggestions based on the technological bottlenecks and development needs proposed by our company, combined with cutting-edge academic research directions. Members of the expert group have expressed that their visit has directly felt the innovation vitality and development potential of our company. They look forward to using this exchange as a starting point to establish a long-term and stable cooperation mechanism around “joint tackling of technical problems”, “targeted delivery of outstanding talents”, “knowledge training” and other directions, quickly transforming the scientific research achievements of universities into the core driving force for promoting enterprise development and helping the industry upgrade its technology. At the meeting, both sides also had lively discussions on specific cooperation directions and reached multiple initial cooperation consensuses.
